After 7 years...

After 7 years of my lovely working friends at Ultralab and the Faculty of Education at Anglia Ruskin University encouraging me to blog for myself and/or my professional life with my words of infinite wisdom - here it finally is in all its glory.

This blog is my learning journal for our online MA Learning Through Technology which I have signed up for, "just-in-time". Time management training wasn't lost on me, you might say :)

I have much to catch up on and lots of reading to do, which I'm looking forward to, after seven years helping to run the backend administration, marketing and technical support for our online BA(Hons) Learning Through Technology At last, I will get involved academically in what we teach our students which will further inform my own work practice.

  1. Hi Lindsey good to see you stepping into the blogging world I should make a new academic one too really or rekindle my old one. I am also tempted to do the Masters, trouble is I have so much underway towards publication I worry that I might not fit it all in. Shall i shan't I... so hard deciding.

  2. I had the same concerns Ian but I felt I could and should do this to enhance what I do and add it into my skillset. If it were to be a wholly separate learning experience, I wouldn't have the time that I would want to do it in either!

    And thank you Shirley :)

  4. oooh.. what fun. You're gonna get very intimate with Kolb, Honey and Mumford, Bloom, Piaget and all those other dudes all over again. I must admit that learning about learning was the most fulfilling and motivational experience I've ever had. You're sure to benefit loads in your job!

  5. I need to allocate some thinking hats for the job too...I already have the black hat covered both metaphorically and physically speaking. It's good to be a student again!
